New addition to the WAP family!

|   News

The window fault annunciator WAP now offers up to4,6, 8 or 24 alarms in an ultra-compact design that can clearly display the respective status through large backlit windows.

Glad you found your way from the flyer to our website!

The window fault annunciator WAP now offers up to 4,6, 8 or 24 alarms in an ultra-compact design that can clearly display the respective status through large backlit windows. To handle more messages, the WAPs are expandable. The window colors are freely configurable and different variants with supply and signal voltages of 24 - 220 V AC/DC are available. In addition to the proven fault indication functionality, numerous options such as redundant power supply, integrated 1:1 relays or various communication interfaces such as Modbus or IEC protocols, also with IEC61850 for connection to higher or lower-level systems, are available. Other options such as analog inputs, redundant power supply, etc. can be easily configured via a matrix.

New sizes. The fault annunciator is manufactured in two principal performance classes WAP-P and WAP-K, as well as in various sizes. These are the WAP 4 with four signal inputs, the WAP 6 with six signal inputs and the WAP 8 with eight signal inputs, as well as the standard model WAP 24 with 24 inputs.

IEC 61850. Communication via IEC 61850 can be activated for each USM by means of a software license key. Thus, using the USM as a "rag picker", single and double messages can be easily integrated into existing IEC 61850 structures in the switchgear.

Multilink. Each USM series annunciator can maintain up to four links simultaneously via the IEC 60870-5-101 or -104 protocols. Communication can take place both in parallel operation and in a redundancy group.

Analog cards with limit value monitoring. With the new analog cards, a maximum of 20 analog values can be processed in one device.
Voltage ranges between 0 V and +/- 10 V or currents between 0 (4)... 20 mA can be applied individually to each input. The highlight is that the values are available on all protocol types such as IEC 61850, 60870-5-104 or Modbus and, in addition, undercutting or exceeding of threshold values can be signaled via the digital inputs. In addition, monitoring between or out of range is possible.
